I bought a 800.00 gateway monitor from future shop on 06/11/2005 it lasted 8 months. i was talking to the salesman from gateway and he told me he would send me a replacment but did not know if the defect they had on these monitors was fixed or not. he did not know if the monitor he was replacing was the original models or the fixed monitors they had trougle with the dvi circuits he had told me before.
i received the replacement in 3 days i used it for about 4 months anyway over the one year warr. for the first monitor. both monitors had the same problem with the dvi circuits. so the 2nd monitor went the same way.black picture and the on /off button showm blue and would not work/ both monitors had the same problem why didnt he send me a monitor with the updated repair. all they say to me now is your warr. is up and we can not help you with a monitor with defective parts. i have been emailing them and get the sam answer no matter who i talk to. i have saved all the emails. i am out 750.00 plus tax with a dead moitor on my hands. yours walter
