Ripoff paid for new monitor and looked like it was used

I Bought a new monitor from computer avenue and when i paid for it and got it from guy i noticed seal on box was broken so i said something to sales person he said it was opened so they could put there warrenty sticker on it, i was in a rush to get a new monitor and wanted to go home so i just took it. When i got home and took it out of box it was all nicly packed but the proctective film that was on screen was pulled off and taped on wasn't happy with that but when i pluged it in and turned it on it worked so never said anything.

Then few days later the monitor shuts off and i can't turn it on so i phone computer avenue and they tell me they don't do returns or exchanges on defctive monitors i got to ship it to manafucture to get it repaired so i asked to talk to manager and he told me the box was only opened so they could put there warent sticker on it to track it there was no reason to do that if they don't warrent it. lucky for me acer had a repair depot in my city and i never had to mail it away but now i going to loose my monitor for few days or maybe even few weeks, after i bought monitor from them because i didn't feel like going up road to futureshop and getting it cheaper possably. Don't buy from computer avenue who knows what they switch in boxs when they open it to put a warrent void if removed sticker they they don't warnet to begin with
