Terrible Service, borderline scam

I wish there had been reviews on sooner. Instead I had to learn the hard way. Terrible Terrible Terrible service. The "owner" is the only one that handles anything, and doesn't bother to communicate about the order at all. For 2 and a half weeks, my order status remained "awaiting fulfilment" I called several times just to reach a voicemail that hasn't even been activated. After finally getting a call back I was then told the items I ordered aren't actually available, but they will be in a few days. I agree to wait, and also confirmed that I would receive it by X date mentioning that I would be away after that date. The order never came that day. Instead I hear back another week and a half away from him saying " Well you weren't going to be home anyway"

He then tells me that the items are still unavailable. Then suggests that my 160 ounces of Grade 9 kobebeef filets /medallions (which have no extra fat caps)be substituted by 72 ounces of fat capped Grade 12 Strip loins. Not only did I pay more for less, 20%of the steak was inedible because it was not trimmed before weighing.

I called to address the matter and after he heard my complaints and promised a solution after the weekend, he never called back. I am very sad to know that this is what a gourmet market that boasts such great sounding products which is self-advertised as "Canada's No.1" is truly like behind all the enhanced photos and blinking ads.

I also emailed several times while I was waiting for a reply. Posted on the facebook page only to have it deleted, while he banned any possibility for further posts. Disgusting.

I put in my order on Jan 16th, and did not receive it until Feb 10th
