Rebate Ripoff False Advertising advertised price assumed rebate, rebate refused no reason

I purchased goods based on the advertised price. This price included the rebate although that was not stated and you couldn't figure that out until the end. The rebate application was a long involved nuisance. I got a terse email that the rebate was refused, that was in the message tittlle. No text or explaination as to why the rebate was refused.
Further it would appear from the amount of spam I got after signing up that the rebate company sells their email adresses. That would be World Wide Rebates
