I sent in a rebate for a Benq wireless keyboard and mouse which was purchased from Future Shop. I got a postcard from
rebates.com
stating the UPC code was never received. However, when I mailed in the rebate I had stapled the UPC code to the rebate form. Logically, if they have my rebate, then they must have gotten the UPC code which was attached to it.
Rebates.com gave me Benq's contact information but I never heard from them. There rebate department goes straight to an answering service that always seems to lose your message.
I also work for a major retailer in Canada that values customer service. We started carring Benq's line of TV's. Benq offered $50-200 off in mail-in rebates. Every customer who sent in a rebate came back angry stating that Benq would not fill their rebate for odd reasons.
When our company told Benq we would no longer be carring their products and that our warehouse of stock was being returned, they immediately filled all current rebates under the condition we stop handing them out. Once all the rebates were recieved and sent out, the reatiler I work for discontinued everyone of their products.
