I purchased a Whirlpool Washer & dryer just over a month ago.
My washing machine which I paid just over $ 1000.00 for and have used no more than 30 times has already broken down. ( during the spin cycle it sounds like huge socket wrenches are flying around inside of the washer).
When I called sears asking what they can do about it they said they won't take the washer back as it's over their 30 day policy.
But they would have the service department come out and have someone look at it and see if they can fix it.
Since that call I have waited at home on two different dates waiting for the service techs...Both times...no shows!
When I called back the 1-800-469-4663 to ask what happened to the appointments I had booked ( both with Alex from customer service)
He said someone from head office Vancouver overrode the appointments I booked and changed it to a date that I wouldn't be home.
I have been on the phone with Sears for the past two days...In total
with being put on hold/ talking to different departments/ for over 3 hours. I just want someone to come and look at my new washing machine that is broken! I have never been so frustrated in my life.
Everyone's sorry...but one can help.
I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Sears again! I will make a point of making a facebook page for others to express their bad ( and good if they have one). experiences with Sears/ products.
