Sunwing Airline

On Dec the 4th/2011 I had a CONFIRMED Flight Network airline Booking from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada to Varadero Cuba on flight 694.. I arrived at the airport in Ottawa at 1.00 p.m. 5 hrs before my departure, at 3 p.m. with no one waiting for the Ailine but me and a chinese lady, I decided to call Sunwing for confirmation of my flight, they advised me that the flight Had been changed and or canceled..NOBODY from flight network or SunWing notified me of these changes..Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... needless to say I was quite frustrated being stranded at the Airport with NO way back home..Finaly after an hour on the phone Sunwing gave me a phone number of Flight Network to contac for more info on a new departure time to Varadero. I immediately contacted Flight Network and after 1or so hour on the phone, a Rep. named "Indira" was quite patient and managed to book me a flight from Dorval in Montreal ( 125 miles from Ottawa).. therefore I had to take a Taxi from Ottawa Airport to downtown Ottawa $40.00 fee, then take a Greyhound Bus from Ottawa to Montreal $38.00, ( 2 hour Bus ride ) then take another Bus (1 hour ) form downtown Montreal to Dorval Airport $18.00 then wait 2 more hours at Dorval Airport to take the Sunwing Airline to my Varadero destination. Needless to say this king of adventure is something you would normally ONLY see in a movie, BUT, this was NOT a movie, this was REAL HELL ON EARTH.. Besides all this agony to get to Montreal, It cost me an EXTRA $335.00 to get on the Sunwing Airline from Dorval Quebec to Varadero Cuba... In Total, my EXTRA costs to fly to my Cuba destination is as follow..

Airline: $335.00 extra

GreyHound Buses:$38.00 $18.00

Taxi: $40.00 from Ottawa airport to downtown Ottawa

Total Extra cost: $431.00

I would expect Sunwing or Flight Network to reimburse me or give me a Credit to this HORRIBLE adventure that I experienced and which I was literaly forced to accept.. If some kind of agreement is not accepted on this matter, please be advised that with my 27 years experiences Online, I will Blog and Blog and correspond with Newsgroups, I will even create a Web Site to pre warn and or PREVENT future travelers using Sunwing Agency and Flight Network Airline and they will know of my past experiences.. Kindly have Sunwing and or Flight Network remedy me with some kind of mutual agreement regarding this painfull adventure I had toendure to get to my destination..

Over and Above this horrible Outbound experience, I also had to have my pick up driver wait 3 hrs (parked in a Handicap Area) while I was in the Airport Lugguage Department at my Inbound Airport in Ottawa, for SunWing to have their Luggage Doors Open ( they were jammed and or defective)..Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... pure hell
