We are stuck in a hotel waiting for Thrifty to show up with a replacement car because the Calgary manager has told us we will be liable if we drive the car we rented a few days ago! Who knows when they will show up?
We rented a brand-new SUV which broke down in a parking lot on Christmas Day. Thanks to the help of a passerby we managed to get the cafe back to our hotel. Now we are told we can't leave the hotel until they come with a new car. So far, so bad... we have already waited three hours and are paying for a car we cannot use!
