Oh wow, two visits from OEG in 20 minutes! I actually had ANOTHER representative of same company ring my bell moments after I posted my previous complaint. He told me they work in teams, but not necessarily together so each "rep" doesn't know where the other one has previously gone. I was calmer and by now feeling really sorry for these poor kids, so this time I quietly told the new young person what he's being paid to say is untrue. He said he was there to offer me savings on a new water heater - different story. I advised him, nicely, that his company is a scam, and to be careful-- it has numerous complaints against it, including with the BBB - and I've even read online that the company owner doesn't always pay his employees. The young man confirmed that there had been some trouble with people not getting paid on time. This guy DID give me his name, but I won't repeat it so he doesn't get in trouble if his "employers" read this.
He was sympathetic about my not wanting repeated visits, but said all he could do was offer to send a group email to his colleagues. He had no information at all about his own company, which he was clearly embarrassed about. He doesn't even know his own manager's full name - all he has is a first name, Mohamed, and a phone number with (519) area code. When I tried calling it, I got an answering machine for someone named Sabina Rodriguez.
Nice fancy website they've got -- all window dressing.
