I didn't go public the first time but now I see I should have.
I was at this Pizza Pizza location a few months ago. It was about 1:15am. After ordering I go to sit down in one section. The guy behind the counter told me I am not allowed to sit there because he just mopped up the floor and cleaned the tables.
This was at 1:15 and the place doesn't close until 3am. That means he doesn't want anyone sitting in that area just because he doesn't want to have to put away a few more things at 3 in the morning. How difficult is it to dust off a few crumbs that may be left over?
Though people told me I should complain I decided I wouldn't.
However, after last week, and this was witnessed by yours truly as I was eating.
This time it was 1:50am. 2-teenage girls came in. Nicely dressed and very polite. Not seeing the pizza they wanted and wanting to order a pizza slice, one of the girls asked if he's going to make any more pizza.
He replied, "no, because we're closing soon." SOON? They weren't closing for another hour-and-10-minutes. Surely he could've put another pizza in the oven. If there was a 1/2 hour left until closing then I'd say he was in the right but this was with, as I said, another hour and 10-minutes until the place closes. If they were rude I'd say he was right but they were NOT rude, they were very polite not even causing a stink after he refused to make another pizza.
I'm sorry but that just IS NOT RIGHT! Since the teen girls were polite and not rude another pizza should've been made.
So what this shows, my experience with the lazy guy not wanting to clean up a little (by not allowing me to sit in the section I wanted to) and the experience the teens had by the lazy guy (a different one--not the same guy both times) not wanting to make another pizza, I'm sure means many more people have had the similar problems at this location.
Pizza Pizza Customer Service Department is no help so they leave us no choice but to complain publicly. And as a result 3 customers will no longer return to this location at Dundas and Erindale.
