The company greatcarsandtrucks called me one day, and I was not interested in selling my car on their website, but the guy was persistant. When he promised me a money back guaranty if they didn't sell the car within 3 months, I agreed to list my car on the website and sent them the $100 they required for the service.
After a few months, I tried to get a hold of the company by phone, but it was difficult. When I finally got a hold of them, I asked for Colin (who was the guy I conversed with on the phone). They said that he didn't work there anymore, so I asked to speak to the manager. A guy named Chris came on the phone. I told him the situation, and he was very rude, and said that for the moneyback guarantee I have to call within 7 days of the 3 month deadline with all kinds of documentation about my car that is hard to acquire.
I couldn't ring the guys neck because he was (supposedly) in Calgary and I was in Ontario. The moral of the story is never do business with someone whose service isn't located in the same town as yours. Cheers,
Mike
