I would NOT recommend this company to anyone looking to sell their jewelry.
I have been looking to sell an engagement ring that was given to me. I have been to a few of the different locations around the GTA that advertise jewelry buying. The offers I have received from 3 other companies averaged about $800.00 for a ring that was originally purchased for $2000.00. I recently herd an advertisement on the radio for a company that guarantees their service and the amount they offer for your jewelry will be more then all the other guys. This company was Omni Jewelcrafters. I was looking forward to doing business with a company that is offering this type of customer service and satisfaction. When I got there the first question I asked the older lady behind the counter was if they were even interested in buying my ring from me. I ask this because there had been 1 place that wasn’t looking for this type of jewelry to buy and he was very nice about it. She answered yes and took the ring into the back where a man was looking it at to make me an offer. While she was back there I could hear them whispering and laughing. That did not make me feel very good. When she came out she offered me $140.00 and when I questioned her she told me that all my 1 carat diamond engagement ring was good for were scraps! She said it in a very rude tone and was speaking down to me.
