Not another credit card ripoff! A lady named Jennie Rox from First Guardian called me twice this afternoon. The first time was at 1:30 pm (I missed the call) and the second time was at 4:30 pm. She said that I had qualified for a Visa with a $2500 limit and a Master Card with a $2000 limit.
She wanted to know if I had filed for bankruptcy, if I was still employed, if I still had a checking account, and if I was over 18 years of age. She said that for a $199.00 fee I would receive both cards in about 7 to 10 days with a 0% interest for the first year and then 4.9% interest thereafter. She said my personal ID was YNG1654.
She said all was needed was to give her my bank info so she could debit my account and send my cards right out. I told her that I was not where I could talk privately and asked could she call me back in the morning. I knew I was coming home to do some research on this company.
Thanks to Steve and several others I noticed their reports on this company and that it has 20 different names. Someone said to email them and we could get the company names, but I didn't see an email address for the person stating this.
Please, please don't buy their garbage. They are truly ripoff artist and are out to get your money. Beneficial Client Care, United Financial, First American, and Global Financial are all the same! They too are trying to rip you off using the same methods of stating you've been approved and need to send a fee.
Before you give anyone your personal information, let them know you want to do research on their company to check them out first. If they don't give you accurate info, or if they try to give you only part of the info, then go to this site or check on the internet to see if the company actually exists. If not, stay away from them as far as you can get. They are ripoffs!
