A guy named Peter Grates from First Guardian National called me and offered me a Visa and Master card with $2500 and $2000 limits as long as I qualified. I had to be over 18 and have a job for at least 6 months.
My first reaction was skepticism but I went along and asked more about FGN. As he went along explaining more, I asked him to call back later as I was busy at the time. It gave me time to think about what I had been offered, the 2 cards along with the same cards in my wifes name at a great rate with a debit fee of $199 directly from our bank account.
When he called back I stupidly gave him my account info. and he assured me that the debit could be set up on the day I agreed on. He mentioned that someone from Customer service would call me to reaffirm the info I gave him and he said that they may want to have an earlier date than I wanted but that he had noted it and it would be withdrawn on my original date.
Someone called about 10 minutes later and did want an earlier date but I again mentioned that it could only be done 2 weeks later and he said no problem. Well that should of been my biggest clue that this was just a BIG RIP OFF, because they withdrew the $199 from our account 3 days later, way before my agreed on date.
I have been in contact many times since with CS and each time Joy Brown (supervisor) is always unavailable to answer my questions. I realize I am now out the Cash and Out the so-called Credit cards which never existed. I am ashamed and embarressed about being taken. I only wish I could get even with these worms.
