Ripoff dishonest scam false promises victimized many consumers canada

We got a call in the middle of May 2002, from a lady named Diane Young, she gave me the speal of how we would get a visa with 9.5% intrest fixed and 2, 500 credit limit and a master card with 0% fixed interest 2, 000 credit limit. She told me the cards would be to me 7 to 10 business days from our debit date which was supposta be May 30th, 2002. That date came and left on June 7th I called again and talked with a Joy Brown which is supposta be a supervisor (not a very good one at that) she informed me that they were short staffed and the processing center was running behind I laid into her that it was not our problem her company was "behind".

So we canceled our acount with them and as soon as I got off the phone with her my husband went to an atm and withdrew our money and I called the bank to let them know of the scam and to not allow them to take them money, my bank informed me that they took it that morning, and it takes atm's 24hrs to catch up with the bank so we got a overdraft fee. I immediately called the company back to leave our account open, I spoke with a Stephanie she said that everything was fine she fixed it so it would not close!! And that we would recieve our credit cards right away federal express, we did not recieve them We have not yet recieved them and everytime I call and finally talk to someone they say it is in the mail wait two weeks, well I have spoke with a man named Tim there today and Have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and contacted the ATTORNEY GENERAL

I informed this man of that and I had wanted to speak with their supervisor he neglected to do that so on monday not only do I file my complaint form for them to be investigated but an attorney also. We are going to take them to court for the fees we owe the bank, all of the phone calls we have made (BY THE WAY THEY DO HAVE AN 800 NUMBER IT IS 800-787-1583 AND JOY BROWN WORKS 2PM-11PM) before we knew the 800 number We have to pay $80.00 in phone bills to this company. We are fighting for the credit cards and the refund of $220 that we had to pay to get it plus for them to pay attorney fees. Everyone should also contact their local ATTORNEY GENERAL and BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, so we can get them where it hurts and that is MONEY!!!
