First Capital Consumers Group Strikes Again! fraudulent ripoff business Ontario

Late May I received a call from First Capital Consumers Group saying that I had been approved for a Master Card and Visa, each having a $2, 500 limit and that all I had to do was pay the one time processing fee of $199. When I questioned the amount I was told that this was because there would be no other fees, no annual fees. Well, I too fell for the scam and agreed to the $199 debit to be made on June 2, 2002 and I would receive my credit cards within 14 business days. Well, they did not debit the account until June 11, 2002. It is now July 20th and I have heard nothing from these people. I have tried numerous times to contact them to no avail. The only thing these people were honest about was that there would be no annual fees - because there is no credit card! Please, do not fall for this scam!! SandieWaukegan, Illinois
