On July 1st I received a phone call from a representative of First Capital Consumers Group stating that I had qualified for a Visa/Master credit card.
I was ask a few question to see if I qualified for the unsecure card.I was then given the choice of Visa/Master card and the option of a Gold card. The costs of $199.00 or $219.00
I was given a pin number and ask if I would like to receive a gold card. It was explain to me that the Gold card, which has a one time processing fee of $219.00, gives you access to cash withdrawals. I elected to receive the Visa Gold Card.
I was asked if the fee could be processed from my savings account on that day. I explained to the representative that I was at home recovering from surgery and the funds would not be available until July 5, 2002 from my checking account.
As of today August 15, 2002 I have not received my Visa Card, I have not received a call back from the company.
This needs to be stopped.
