I am writing in hopes that you will consider helping me with my ongoing issue that I am unable to resolve. This is an ongoing issue with our airlines that are taking advantage and stealing from their customers to stay a float in this weakening economy.
I Received an email from Swoop Airline on November 10th from Swoop Airline at 1:36am who changed my flight from December 21st to flying out now on December 26Th... Which sort of beats the purpose of being home for Christmas with my family And for them to change my vacation knocking 5 days off But not knocking down the price and returning the difference of what I paid for in full from December 21st to January 4th ... Since I can't have my Christmas vacation I deserve the right to cancel the booking and receive my refund which I bought the flight and luggage insurance to be on the safe side. What is the point of the insurance if you are unable to reach Customer Service.
I have attempted to call Customer Service to resolve this several times
... The number that is provided for Swoop Ariline is, 1-587-441-1001 .. is just a recording that says ... We cannot take your call at this time but Please call back ... Facebook Messenger, Twitter or Instagram? .. You get a message saying they will respond in 72 hours .. And when you do start getting a reply back you get bounced around from person to person which each time, You give them your name, your number, your booking number and address and form of payment ....this goes on for days and when you think you actually found a person who is willing to resolve the issue ... They will ask you to download an app to take control of your device ...there reason for this, is to verify you? Then they will ask for you to contact your bank to receive a verification number ... I spoke with my bank who told me all airlines have a certain phone number they can call to verify a customer to complete a refund ... I went back to FB messenger with this info, who I advised to once again several times with No Response. All I want is my flight canceled and my money back ... I will never ever book with Swoop again ... I just wanted to go home for Christmas because I have not been home for Christmas in over a decade. What was so wrong with that? What was wrong with that; is I booked with the wrong airline? Before I try to rebook with one of the other major airlines like WestJet I need the refund returned to me in full.
I understand that this is probably not a pressing matter, however, I've reached my limit. I don't know what else I can do or say to get someone to help me to resolve this matter. Hence why I have reached out to you. Can you please help!
