Cons Ripped Me off $199 Promised Credit Cards And still received NOTHING! RUDE, FAST TALKING, Convincing CONS that won't give me MY MONEY tricked and lied to us

Approx. In the Middle of June 2002, a women called me in the afternoon on my Cell phone. She was from First Capital Consumers Group, and offerede me a Mastercard, and Visa with Limits of $2000.00 and $2500.00. Plus a Free Phone.

I told her I wasn't interested, She asked me, Didn't I want to build up my credit? I said Yes, she said I was Pre-approved for both cards, and all she needed was $199.00 Processing fee. Unfortunally I agreed, and gave her my Checking Account Number. She asked when it would be good to debit my account, and I told her. She told me I would receive a Packet in the mail. They Debited My Account $199.00 on 6/24/02.

I did receive a packet containing nothing but Junk. I have called the number they gave me 1-800-787-1583 and 1-416-488-4664. I have tried about once a week at first, but never got through to talk to someone. I left Countless messages, over and over again. Sometimes I called and their Voice Message was full. A few times I called I was Hung up on. I got through once, and they told me it would be 4-6 Months to receive my cards. When I mentioned that seemed like a long time, I was told the response to their offer was so much that it would take longer.

She gave me a Date of September 22nd 2002, to receive my cards. I waited until Sept.22nd, and still Nothing! I called them and they had yet another excuse, it was lost, they would put a tracking on it, and told me it would take 2 more weeks.

Last Week I called from my House Phone, and when they eventually answered the phone " Can I help you" was all they said. The Women was VERY rude. I told her I wanted my cards or a Refund.

The Women was very rude, talking very fast, she said to FAX a Letter to 416-488-1497 stating I want a Refund, and Send in a Copy of My Bank Statement (which I never did), and I should have it within 4-6 weeks.

She talked so fast I had to ask her to repeat the information over and over again, so I could write it down. I was so mad the converstaion finally ended. I hung up... SHE CALLED ME BACK ON MY CELL PHONE! and proceeded to tell me " If I was being Rude to you, you would not have gotton the information I gave you" After I got Rude back to her for CALLING ME BACK, She said to me " Give It Up " and Hung up on ME!!!

I never thought I was being Ripped Off, when this first began. I am married with a two year old child. I work to support my family, and was hoping to use this credit card to take my family on a smalll vacation to Orlando.

Now all I want is my $199.00 Back, and I will never belive another person on the phone again!!! I was So glad to have found this place on the Internet, and there are other Victims like Myself! Please Help me Get back my money.
