Credit card scam tricked and lied to me toronto

I received a call from a lady at first capital comsumers group (jennifer Jones) stating that I was pre-approved for a Mastercard and Visa, no matter what my credit history. I told her I wasn't interested. She went on to say how it would be 4.9% and it would same me a lot, especially since I wouldn't have to pay the first 6 months. She also said that the phone number would be toll free after I was a member.

Well, after listening to her for a 1/2 hr or more, I agreed. She asked for my routing and bank account number so she could take out a lifetime membership fee of $219 which I told her I was going to give to Ameri Debt. After this cleared the bank, she said I would be receive a visa and mastercard (both each with a credit limit of $2500 on them) within 10 days. She said I could use these cards to transfer the balances my pastdue and overlimit cards.

When I finally got a hold of someone, a little over a week had passed, the lady told me I would get them in 2 to 3 weeks from the time they got my money out of my account.

I finally got a packet from them but, it didn't contain any credit cards, just offers for them.
