First Capital Consumers Group
Is a consumer fraud ripoff, they lied to us & acted like they had no idea what I was talking about on my many calls

Christopher from First Capital called us and told us that we were approved for 2 credit cards (1 visa and 1 mastercard) totaling $4500.oo. He said they needed a deposit of $200.00 for processing and other fees. He needed our account number which we did not have handy so he gave us this number (416) 289 -2441 to call him back directly with our account number.

First Capital took the money out of our account on June 26th. We didn't receive the cards so we called numerous times and left messages. No one called us back. I finally got ahold of someone named Anne who told me she couldn't do anything without knowing what day the money was taken out. I had to call my bank to find out for sure and then called back. The person who "helped" me then was Cam. (This was July 31, 2002).

Cam apologized and said he was resending everything and that is should be here in five days. Still nothing! When I called and demanded that my account be credited the money and the cards cancelled I was told there was no way anything could be done since they already showed the cards as being sent out. I was then told to fax a copy of my account and a letter stating what the problem was to (416) 488-1497. I was also given other addresses to where this company was located. All of this proved not to be true!
