Scam, Scam Scam! Everywhere Scam. I have never thought that there would be a scam in Job also. I got a call from this company regarding a job for selling credit/debit card processing machine to small scale business owners. The gentleman from the other side (who told his name Eric) of the phone was a great speaker and has a good talent to convince the people. He told me how I can earn a handsome salary and can convince the small business owner to buy his product. Our conversation lasted for more than half an hour and during that he was speaking all the time.
At the end of the conversation he told me that some name Janice will get me back for further job processing. After 15-25 minutes I got the call from a lady name Janice. He told me that I have to attend a webinar/online training. Then in the mean time I google searched for this company and I found the complaint of this company. Then I decided not to join and when I got a call from the Manager of this company then I told him that I am no more interested in job then he politely told me that there is no problem, but he will keep my resume for further job and if I change my mine then I may call him back.
I thanked him for this opportunity and that's it. What I thought. But very next morning I got a call from 1-888 number regarding the same. A lady in harsh tone of voice told me that I need to attend the training session and work for this company and atleast I have to get 10 customer otherwise I have to pay $250 to the company. I asked why I need to pay? She told me that I have signed an agreement and according that if I do not join the company then I will have to pay to the company. Then I checked my email and whatever information I gave to the company then I found that no where it was mentioned that I have to pay to the company for not joining. But frankly speaking that after hearing this my nerves was on edge.
I was very much worried about that because I was jobless and I can't pay that much of amount for nothing. But thank GOD it is almost a week passed and I never got another call from that company. So my friends, Please, Please Please I am humbly requesting you all there that don't sign either on paper or digitally if you are unsure or doubtful about anything. Almighty GOD has saved me this time and I learned a lesson. Please don't get trap on this company. Thanks for taking the time to read my report. Once again I request you all that whenever you feel any doubt about anything the best way is to Google search. Google search has saved me more than twice.
