I recently recieved a check for $4, 260.00 from McLanahan Corp. 200 Wall Street, box 229 Hollidaysburg, PA. 16648 (that's what's on the check). The letter that came with it says the Head Office is in Canada.
When I tried to research this co., all I came up with was this co. in PA. They want me to cash this check, spend $60.00 at Wal-mart, keep $400.00, and send 2 seperate "Money Grams" to 2 specific people in Canada. One is to be sent to Sylvia Hopkins, city of Horwood, state of NF, in Canada. The other is to be sent to Jason Crollins, at the head office in Canada. The co. on the check deals with mining, and manure. Nothing seems to match up.
if it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't. Does anyone know anything about this company??
