I received a check, in the amount of $4, 250.00, from the above company with a letter instructing me to spend $60.00 on any merchandise of my choice at WalMart and two Money Grams, in the amount of $1, 860.00 each, at separate locations. Also included in this check is $400.00 for my salary and training pay and $130.00 for service charges to Money Gram.
The letter promises that if I complete this transaction properly, my salary will be increased to $650.00 the following week.
There is no web site or email address provided, but I am to fax an acceptance form (provided) to the above company before completing the transaction.
It all sounded a bit fishy to me so I checked MysteryShopOnline.com out on consumer complaintss and found that they had been reported several times. I am considering turning over my letter and check to the local FBI office.
