I received a letter from Tactical Research Center which has the letter head address on it. They gave me a check for $4, 260 and told me that my salary and training pay was $400.00 and that I needed to spend $60 at the local Wal-Mart. When me and hubby went to the bank to draw out the money that they had sent me our banker told us thatshe called this bank and that the account was closed and that the check was fraud.
I called this guy back named Jason and told him what happened and he said that it had to be a mistake that he would transfer me to the accounts payable division to issus another check. When I confronted him about his phone number that came up a cell phone in Canada he hung up on me. So he later said that the accounts payble division would be in touch with me today.By 4 CT I had heard nothing and called back. He put a women on the phone and she said that it was a mistake. That she would call her bank and see if there was a problem... that was 2 hours ago. This is a scam and be careful... if you cash that fake check you can and will go to jail for fraud.
