Mark Schaefer came to do a home inspection for me at 76 McNaughton St. in Welland. The cost was $275.00 (including tax). While I was there he lit up a cigarette and was ashing in the kitchen sink which I thought was totally unprofessional, I also found out after that he was also smoking in there when my agent first arrived. There was cigarette butts in toilet and more ashes in the bathroom sink. He did take me around the house to explain certain things. When all was done he advised me he would go home and write up the report and email it to myself and my agent before end of day. I explained that he would include PICTURES, and also recommendations and included the information that he had advised me. I've included a copy of the report that we received. There is no recommendations, NO pictures. I am getting a grant through Niagara Regional Housing for my downpayment as a first time home owner. They are waiting on a satisfactory report in order to proceed and my deadline is soon approaching and many people are waiting to place an offer on this home. I feel that this service was VERY POOR and I would like to be refunded all or at least half of my $280.00 for such poor service. Please contact me to further discuss. Melanie Aubin. 905-341-2896
