Horrible Customer Serivce

We bought a Maytag washer/dryer from the Brick. This was supposedly the top of the line coming from Maytag. The washer became faulty just after a year - thus the manufacturer's warranty was over. Lucky we had bought a 5-yrs extended warranty from the Brick. We called them up and for two days we a service call was made... or was it? The rep I spoke to (from a third party company) did not complete the order and I had to call back when the appointment time for the tech had elapsed. So we bit the bullet and called to place another service call. The tech came in the after a couple of days. He assessed the unit and told us that the Brick will get back to us shortly. Over a week went by and we got no call from them. I called back and they told me the tech was dispatched by Whirlpool and they haven't received his report yet. In effect we have paid for the extended warranty and here we are jumping through hoops just to get our money's worth. In the meantime I, the customer must suffer through this with a defective washer. This is the last time we get anything from the store and I will discourage anyone from buying from there. Do not make the mistake of giving them your hard earned money.
