Gary has rented a number of cottages in Lake of Bays over the last year, and has managed to not pay. There are three examples, on in Dorset, and two in Dwight. We are one of them, he owes us close to $17,000. He paid in the beginning, and then after a number of weeks, he reduced the amounts then made a 101 excuses as to why he had to delay payment, from limits with e-transfers to being in the hospital, etc. etc... Through someone who actually knows him, we managed to learn that he has been doing this consistently over the past 7 years in the area. He would always retreat to Wellend, or the Niagara area for a while then come back and do it again. He is a smooth pathological liar, and made many outlandish claims of owning a 4 million dollar distillery, which we found out he didn't (no surprise), to a Marina, as well as purchasing properties all over the area. Hopefully you won't experience this and of course steer clear of him!
