Weedeater One
Inoperable

I purchased a riding lawnmower in June of 2010. In early August of 2011, the lawnmower's steering ability disengaged and the clutch/brake cable broke. A Sears technician aqttended at my residence and ordered the parts in my presence. He advised that the parts were back-ordered and would be shipped direct by Sep. 13. The parts did not come and on Sep. 14 my wife contacted Sears and was advised that a "buy back" process would be enacted and we could expect a phone call later that day. We did not receive the call adn again called Sears on Sep. 19. It was repeated by the representative that the lawnmower would be bought back and we would recive a phone call that day or the next and we attended at the local Sears and picked out a replacemnt mower. We did not hear anything again so I called again today, Sep. 23 and spoke to a Natalie who advised that the process was in the works and needed the representative of that department to have the process authorized. She advised that if she couldn't get the particular representative that she would "take it to a manager." She told me that she would personally call me back at 3:30 PM to let me know how she made out. I waited all afternoon but no call. In just the last 2 or 3 years alone we have puchased from Sears..a TV, a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and the lawnmower. I have lung disease and cannot use a pushmower and my wife has a heart condition. I have now paid $100.00 to have my lawn mowed by a neighbour.

Thank you for your attention to my complaint.
