I bought the lawnmower, because of the great reputation of the Toro Brand... and bought the most upscale or expensive model BOS system, which is newly offered this year. The advertisement was "guaranteed to Start". I just bought the lawnmower one week ago, and started it only once, after pulling the starting cord about 14-16 times, witnessed by my neighbor and she couldn't even start it. I made another three attempts, [this is includding the 16 times attempts] and it finally started. After only one time usage, and a time frame of about one hour, I cleaned it up and stored it in the shed. I brought it out two days later, to cut the lawn once more, because on the first attempt the grass was a little too high and I did not cut it short enough. I thereupon tried to start it, this time after 12 pulls on the cord, and it did not start up, giving me sore muscles in my shoulder. I could not start the mower, and gave up. To the credit of the manager of the Hardware store, he agreeded to come to my house to see what was wrong with the mower, and I have a five year guarantee on the mower. Again, it is NOT the FAULT OF THE STORE MANAGER, it is with the manufacturer of the Toro Lawn mower, with a Honda engine. I must compliment the store manager, as he was baffled by the inability for the lawn mower to start, after giving me raving remarks on the Toro Brand, which I had one many years ago. The manager is now in the process of rectifying it but this will not be until after September 29th. I paid $1000 for the lawn mower, for your information.
