Didn't work

I bought a Blackberry Playbook on Sunday Oct 2, 2011 from Geosat Electronics. He told me that to save taxes there would be no receipt for purchase. I asked "what happens if it doesn't work? " He said just bring it back. I called him later that day to tell him that the product didn't work, and he said bring it back in the morning. I came back to his store the next morning and he proceeded to check the merchandise first. He could not get it to work either, then went on to tell me that in this business, there are no returns. I got upset and asked to talk to the owner, and he is the owner. I pleaded for my money back, then he just told me to take it up with Blackberry. I said " how can I call if you didn't give me a receipt? Maybe I'll just call the cops". Then he started yelling at me to get out of his store and said "go ahead, if you calle the cops, I'll f**k you up! You don't know who I am." He tossed the playbook back to me and said "this is your sh** now, not mine! " Is there anything that can be done?
