In Toronto Airport.. I was approached by an airmiles representative who said if I signed up with Primus, that I would not only receive 500 free air miles, but also the lowest calling rates on my land line.
By signing their form, I received my first phone bill with calls at .15 per minute to BC from Windsor... where Bell Canada was only charging me .07.
I received an invoice from them, called and complained and stated that they lied and that I wasn't paying it. Also..why would anyone in their right mind give up a plan that charges .07 for a plan for .15. They began to get rude and demanding claiming they were going to send my $33.00 bill to a collection company (which they did) and I sent a copy of their letter and my reply to Equifax to where they replied very nicely.. for Equifax to see... If these companies are allowed to operate this way, then no one will ever have clean credit.. I am nearly ready to sue for harrassment.. and I'm certainly NOT going to pay it..
