This could not be further from the truth.
I just read a blog that is gaining strength as a result of the thousands of dissatisfied customers.
I've recently had the misfortune of losing $50.00 to the Service Department in the small appliance repair centre in Victoria.
I left a small power washer and after I was required to leave a $50.00 deposit, I was given an estimate of $100.00
Three weeks later I get a phone call to say the estimate would be closer to $170 to $200.00. A new one would cost me $160.00. Needless to say, I won't ask for it to be repaired, and I can kiss my $50.00 goodbye.
Does it make any sense at all for me to continue giving Sears my business?
I'm disgusted, with the lack of customer service.
