Ripoff poor customer serivice -will never buy from them again!

Bought a car from this dealership using a co-signer. During the purchase, they informed us that we can take out the co-signer after a year. After a year of paying on time, that's what we decided to do.

We were asked by the Manager of this dealership that in order for us to take out our co-signer from the contract, we have to physically go to Brampton Mitsubishi and apply for a new loan that will replace our existing one. After applying directly from the dealership, we were promised that with in three days we'll get an answer if we were approved. I called three days after and have spoken to the same person, and he said that he spoke with Primus and they initially did not approve our application form but the manager said he will do something about it since he has connections there. He also promised that he will call us back the next day to let us know the status.

A month and a week came, still we did not get any phone call. Having fed up of waiting, I decided to call Primus directly. When I talked to one of the Primus manager, they said that there was never any paperwork submitted on our name. He also said that I didn't have to go to the dealership itself to apply for this change. All I have to do is apply directly to them by getting an application form..it's as simple as that. We have been waiting for this long for nothing.

When we called the dealership we never got the chance to talk to the manager we dealt with at first since he was busy with another customer. Instead, the business manager called us and said that the we need to re-apply again since the other manager who's handling our application, admited that he only called Primus bet never admitted of not sending in the paperwork. The manager didn't have the nerve to call us back to apologize directly and admit his fault. Also, when we were talking to the branch manager, his tone of voice was like, he just wants to get rid of the call and get the easy way out without even a hint of sympathy OR atleast try to resolve the problem. I work in customer service and even though I'm not a manager, I will never talk to a customer like that. They always have the habit of saying they will call you back but never will... is that because am not buying a car anymore? Is that why we are less important now???

It was a very sad experience for us because we love our car but the customer service in this dealership was very poor. They are at your mercy when they want your business, but once you buy, the service stops there.

It's a good thing that we recorded all of our conversation with Primus and with them.
