Signed Under False Pretenses
I recently switched my wireless service to Rogers, after 4 years with Bell. The reason I switched was because my wife had an incredibly good plan with Rogers (an unlimited plan, to say the least). I called their customer service to inquire about the plan. I was told that I would be eligible for either the same plan, or one very similar after 6 months of good patronage and was told that there was a note in my file stating that I was promised this. I called yesterday, after nearly 8 months, to change to my new plan that I was promised, and was told that there was nothing they could do for me, that the plan doesn't exist. This would be alright, except for the fact that they could not offer me anything REMOTELY close to what my wife has. After being on the phone for nearly an hour, the "Customer Care" representative told me there was nothing they could do and refused to help me any further. Now I am stuck with a 3 year contract to a mobile plan that is equal to the plan I had at Bell, all because I was promised one thing when I signed my next 3 years away. This is not over...
