Long story short -- I ordered flowers from EFlorist Inc. The flowers got there ok, but they charged my credit card more money than the total stated (shipping and handling charges were already accounted for and I didn't select any sort of additional service that would have warranted more charge.
When I called to bring the matter to their attention, they said my card was charged extra because of the conversion from US currency to Canadian currency, and that the difference would be refunded to me in a few days.
Instead of refunding the difference, they charged my account AGAIN for it, leaving me even further in the hole.
I called them several times, faxed copies of my bank statements that showed the charge and they agreed they were in error and that they'd refund the money.
It has been 6 weeks since my order and still no refund. I've placed 6 calls to their customer service department, faxed and emailed copies of my bank statement twice, and have twice had them confirm that they were refunding the money and that it would be credited back to me "in 3 business days."
Still no refund. Every time I call the customer service rep has no idea what's going on and stalls while he/she "investigates the matter."
I don't know if they're incompetent or deliberately trying to swindle me -- or which one is worse.
EFLORIST Inc, if you're reading this my order number was 1-485802. Check it out for yourself. I sent your customer service team another email AND phone call today, only to have more stall tactics used on me.
I just want back the extra money my account was charged.
