The system indicats that your name was randomly selected through a computerized ballot system as a winner for the first quarter of 2009 sweepstakes draw.
All participants were selected through a computerized ballot system drawn from readers digest publishers clearing house online sweepstakes, internet games etc...
Enclosed, is a check for $3897.35 which covers 3.6% of government recommended taxes on your winnings. For authorization and activation of this check please contact our agents. Your winnings must be claimed not later than May 8, 2009.
I called the bank the check was written from they said they have had many calls. This is fraud. The bank is looking into this matter.
Thank God I have a loss prevention back ground or I would not have spotted all the errors in the letter and the check.
