My husband was called September 7th by Great Cars and Trucks and was given the same spill as many other people, great way to sell a truck, 90 day money back BS, yada yada yada, Soooo he decided to try it out, whatever, for the low price of 150 bucks... so not bad...
THEN, a few days ago I realize that our card had been billed twice, YES twice! So realizing that there was an obvious mistake, we decide to call the company and report the error and get the problem solved, which has been solved so easily before by many other companies with whom we have chosen to do some online shopping with.
We called the company a few times during night time hours - our time- we're in North Carolina - and our names and numbers were taken, and we were always assured that we would receive a call back. Of course, we never got that call.
After doing some research, I realized that this company is obviously a joke, a fraud, and while they may operate within legitimate legal ways, they have zero customer service skills, and for the most part, ignore most complaints.
I called the company this morning, and talked with James. I'm assuming it was James/Jim Stewart. The same James that likes to rebutt on this little web forum. HI JAMES! Your awesome! Anyways, so James is QUITE SHOCKED that my card has been charged twice, assures me that the problem will be taken care of, yada yada, and that he is going to forward my information to Audrey and she would make sure that the account was credited back. WONDERFUL! I'm quite pleased! I ask for a confirmation number or some sort of verification email or fax and he assures me that Audrey will email me with that verification.
So after reading more and more about this company, I decided to contact my bank to see if a credit had been made to the account today, they tell me no credits have been made. I STILL never received any confirmation email or anything like that, and quite honestly the PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN CARE OF LIKE MR. JAMES said it would.
When I called and asked to speak with Audrey, the nice little gal that answered the phone said that there was no one there by that name. However, after doing research, it seems to me Audrey is Mr. Craig McMorran's mother, surpise! She puts the call to James, who says to me the matter has been taken care of and to get with my bank, hmmmmm to which I said, no it hasn't. What ensued was a joke of a conversation with pansy James that ended with him hanging up on me. YES YES, he hung up on me.
So until I get my account credited my money back, IT'S WAR. I care nothing about this BS 90 day money back crap, I don't expect to get that money, however I DO EXPECT THE OVERCHARGED AMOUNT BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT!!!
It's not about the money, it's about this *&*& operation/sorry ass excuse for a web business/advertising business - -HEY I WORK FOR A GREAT WEB DESIGN FIRM, U could really use the help guys!! I'm sure with all the money you scam you could spend some on some design work - - - -- THE SITE IS A *&*& JOKE!!! I've seen middle schoolers design better. Sorry, for the tangent, but it needs to be said. My husband is a dope for just going along with your stupid sales call, if he would have taken the time to look at your sorry excuse for a web site he would have realized your company was a cute little cover for a common scam.
So for now I'll be contacting others, filing reports, calling your company JAMES, and posting these numbers.
