I have started the rebate process on two items and already it is getting painful. I got the first rebate form printed off but now I get an error went trying to log back onto OnRebate to start the process of getting the second one. None of my history links will work even starting a new browser on a different machine will not get me to their site.
That is how I ended up here. Reading many threads on problems with rebates. I will document every step of the way including registered mail. Fortunately the rebate offer only asks for COPIES of invoice and UPC so I can keep the originals for future refference.
It is frustrating that retail companies do not apply for the customer themselves. In my farming business, chemical companies ask for even more complicated rebate applications with points and combinations of products. I stick with a particular retailer because he fills them out for me, helps me maximize programs and calls me up to come in and sign the appropriate forms. Now that is service!
If TigerDirect does want us to belive that they are and upstanding company, they owe it to themselves to help the customer out and make sure that we are satified in ALL points of our purchase.
I will see how this plays out and keep you posted!
