My sister recently got married and it was my Brother-in Law's Bday on Aug 22 2011 just after a few days of wedding. I thought of surprising my BIL with a set of 04 Red Wine Bottles from Henry of Pehlam Winery Estate comprising of 2007 Cabernet-Merlot Reserve,
2008 Baco Noir Reserve, 2009 Gamay and 2009 Pinot Noir. I bought the set of 04 wine bottles on Aug 18, 2011 at 21:18 Hrs. The standard shipping rate using Canada Post was $6.95 and the delivery date shown was August 25, 2011. Since I had to have the set of wine bottles as gift on or before my BIL's Bday on Aug 22, 2011, I chose to pay extra and an amount of $25 towards shipping instead of $6.95 to surely be able to have the gift on or before time. I was asked to select a method of delivery date and the only option shown was " Please contact me to arrange an alternate delivery date". No one called me on Friday (Aug 19, 2011) so I called them in the evening only to be directed to the Voice mail. No one still called me on Saturday or Sunday. It is Tuesday today and Aug 23, 2011 and the gift is not yet delivered. I have made number of calls to WINERYTOHOME.COM and left voice mails but no one bothered to call me back. I am so upset as the gift which I wanted to be with my BIL is no where to be seen. Had I known that WINERYTOHOME.COM is such an online business then I would have never chosen to do business with them. They are simply insensitive despite knowing that what a gift means. They do not have the courtesy to return your call or to inform where the gift is. I would recommend anyone planning to buy from WINERY TOHOME NOT to buy anything from this website. I now doubt if ever the gift will reach them. Anyway I have asked for a refund as the occasion has gone by and they could not make a simple delivery. All my plan has been ruined by these inconsiderate and insensitive people. Never buy anything from WINERYTOHOME lest you want to donate money to the owners of WINERYTOHOME.COM
