Just to help track their frequency I had to fill this report, I now have seen this type of scam on this website that dates as far back as a year ago as I was making this report.
Yesterday A Person Claiming to be Italian was also asking for directions to the airport, He ran the same routine as with the other guys that got ripped off and now I'm $400 CAD short in my bank account.
The person spoke italian, looked like a mideteranean man (excuse the spelling), 5'8" - 5'10" in height, slightly darkened skin, Nice haircut, Curly short hair and smartly dressed.
Was last seen in at Castleridge plaza close to McKnight Boulevard in Calgary (driving a maroon rented van).
