My company purchased Denby dishes from Caplan Duval that cost over $3000.00 in January 2009. After a month and still not receiving the dishes, I called to enquire about them. I was told that they were on back-order and would hopefully be in soon. When I told my boss this information, I was told to cancel the order because it was taking so long. I called in and asked to cancel the order and asked for a confirmation of the cancellation. I never received anything, so I called back to cancel the order again. This time, I was told that only Jeff could cancel orders. (It would have be nice to have been told this information the first time.) I was told that I had to e-mail Jeff to cancel the order. I e-mailed Jeff twice and never heard back from him.
Right now, we are out over $3000.00 and do not have the dishes either. We have been asking for the charge to be reversed on the credit card, but we have heard nothing. I want to warn people to not purchase any product from Caplan Duval.
