Over a period of 3 or 3 months, I discussed an order for household appliances. At some point, the salesman asked to take an imprint of my credit card. Instead he charged my card but then assured me that this was just a deposit, and easily refundable if I did not follow through. I was annoyed but believed him.
The order was never finalized and eventually I decided to order from another dealer. I then asked for my refund.
It is important to stress: the order was never finalized.
Excuse after excuse, month after month, and the refund never came. Finally, after about 3 months, the manager of the store called me to tell me that the salesman in question no longer worked there, and that the store's policy was not to refund deposits. I am now out $2, 000.
These guys are liars and ripoff artists.
