I purchased a Bentley GT from Distinctive Collection, a Bentley Dealership in Calgary. I was told on the phone, by email, and it is even written on the invoice, that this car has a Mulliner Specification Package on it, and a Mulliner Fuel Cap. These items cost $11, 000. After I got the vehicle, I found out that it does not have the Mulliner rims, tires, and fuel cap on it. I contacted Distinctive Collection and told them that it did not have these items on it. Their Sales Manager responded with the following email, which admits that they promised me these items, and that I did not get these items, but that they are not going to do anything about it.
After considerable thought and having spoken on the matter of your wheels directly with the owner of the company, we have made a decision that we will not be replacing the wheels you have with a 20” version. Nor will we be contributing financially towards any deal that you may have with Grand Touring Automobiles due to “additional depreciation” that are trying to hit you with because the car doesn’t have the original 20” Mulliner wheels.
We sold the vehicle you in good faith, without trying to hide anything regarding the equipment on the car. The stock sheet populated automatically for a serial number decoder program and this lists all of the factory installed options. This includes the Mulliner Driving Package, which at that time came with 20” wheels. The stock card system doesn’t take into account any changes that have been done on the car since it was sold and unfortunately we didn’t catch the error on the wheels...
