Amre Supply
Ripoff absolutely nothing else is wrong with my machine, and that this is simply a case of bad customer care mistreated and ripped off

On may 26 2003 I returned a rebuilt timer for a washing machine to Amre Supply, where it was purchased approx. five months ago, for warranty service. The fact that the unit required service so soon did not surprise me though.

When I initially required a rebuilt timer approx. 5 months ago Amre sent me home with a dud the first time around and it needed to be replaced, the first timer didnt work at all, so they exchanged it for this current timer, the one in question.

I was appalled at the extent of the arrogant behavior that the elderly lady behind the counter displayed towards me, I had a hard time looking at her without cringing, but apparently she treats everyone this way. When I asked the professional from Norms Appliance, whom services all of my appliances, about her he said she is always like that and he hates dealing with her.

On Friday may 30, 2003 I received a phone call from Amre stating they would not be honoring their warranty, they also blamed my washer for the timer breaking, from
what I gathered from this conversation was somebody placed the blame on my machine without even looking at it, the simple fact is that nothing else has ever went wrong with my machine and or any of its components except the timer, I cannot even begin to
explain how unprofessional this is.

On June 5, 2003 I picked up my timer from Amre and asked for the accompanying paperwork, the rude lady acted like she couldnt hear me so I asked louder and she said everything is in the bag she was referring to the post-it note stuck to the side of my timer that said ground back as is not repaired. so I got my timer back with no documentation and conveniently all of the identifying stickers have been removed.

At this point my attitude was cut my losses and learn a lesson until I noticed what they did to my timer, on the way home the thing fell apart because all of the fasteners that hold the unit together were not positioned correctly, so in essence the reason why my unit was wrapped up in an elastic and in a bag was because it would fall apart otherwise.

What happened here was they took my timer that would fail once in 20 loads and totally destroyed it, now I cannot do my laundry at all. this is like having your brakes inspected but the mechanic only puts one bolt back in your tire, come on this is wrong period. the timer should have come back in the exact same condition it was received in.

In the end my appliance repair man agrees that absolutely nothing else is wrong with my machine, and that this is simply a case of bad customer care.
