My girlfriend ordered 3 Blue roses for Valentine's Day from Canadiana Florists in Scarborough, for delivery in the later Afternoon. I got home at 2:30 and waited for this "surprise" she said was coming. I waited and waited in the livingroom (overlooks driveway and street) and no one showed.
At 8:30pm my girlfriend arrived at my house. Angry, she phoned Canadiana Florists and spoke to a gentleman who said that he did not know the status of our order, and that he could not track them, he then phoned us back and said he could not get hold of his driver and they would credit me for the flowers.
Monday came, and Canadiana phoned to tell us that the driver made several attempts to deliver the flowers but I wasn't home, and he tried all my neighbours and they weren't home either. He also said that there was a black honda civic in the driveway (whatever that means) and that no one was home.
My next door neighbour on one side is 82 years old and when I asked him he was home all day. My neighbour on the other side is on maternity leave and was home from noon till the next morning. My neighbour across the street works from home and was home all day and evening.
No note was left from Canadiana saying that they made any attempts to deliver and no one I asked said they saw any one knock on my door. The Black honda he says he saw is my girlfriends and she did not arrive at my house until 8:30pm and we went out for dinner at 9:30.
They tell me that I have to pay for the delivery charge when in reality they just "forgot" about my order. They now offered me my flowers at 50% off but this is not acceptable. They never attempted to deliver my flowers, and they're making us pay for it. I would advise you stay away from these people.
