On the scheduled date and time of my move, Mega City Movers did not arrive on time (8:30 a.m.). I was the told there was a problem with the truck. At 12:00 they called to say they'd arrive within one hour. At 1:00 p.m. I contacted them again and this time was told they'd arrive at 1:30. At this point, my elevator scheduled at the new location for 11:00 a.m. was in jeopardy. In the meantime, I made other last-minute arrangements and cancelled Mega City, much to their surprise. They didn't seem to be concerned about my situation and all the inconvenience caused me. In addition, the night before the move, I found out about extra charges, i.e. stairs, weight, amount of deposit, etc. I would not recommend this company. How can companies like this remain in business is beyond me.
