SALES STRATEGY

I am a Customer who used to do 400$ of shopping very month from Zellers, But after my recent experience on 14th August from Zeller Store at Shoppers World, 3003 Danforth Avenue, i have lost trust on Zellers.

There was an offer going on Buy 1 and Get 50 % off on second one. So i purchased two Hannes Brief worth 19.97 each and two Hannes 3-pk Camisole worth 10.77 each. My expectations were, as per offer i would be charged 19.97 50% of 19.97 (9.985) for Brief and 10.77 50 % off 10.77 (5.38) for the other. So total discount expected was 15.365 $ .

but i was given a discount 5.38 $.

When i went back they told me that they forgot one stuff, and they refunded me 5.38 $, so total discount was 10.76$. Their Calculation : 19.97 50% off on 10.77 (5.38) and another 19.97 50 % off of the 10.77 (5.38), summing to 10.76 $ instead of 15.36 which i expected. When i complained they said that its company policy and this is how they give a discount.

So all users i would suggest that beware of this strategy that Zellers apply to fool customers.

If i would have gone to the same store and purchased two brief first 19.97 each. I would have got 9.985 off. Then in second time i would have purchased the other 2 camisoles worth 10.77 each i would have got 5.38 more off. SO summing unto 15.36$.

I would not to go to Zellers any more.

I felt cheated and i would never go to that store. They might have earned 5$ extra from me, but they have lost a customer spending 400$ per months.

I would recommend all my friends not to go that store and if they will go beware if such offers.
