Big Buck Hunter
Overcharging scam

On Sat. Nov.30/09 I purchased a Big Buck Hunter tv hookup, target, game for my grandson for 39.99 in the Langley, BC Zellers store.

On Wed. Dec. 4th/09 I purchased a second Big Buck Hunter in the Abbotsford, BC Zellers Store. I have two grandson's the same age. On Wed. I was charged $79.99 for this same item.

Had I not checked my bill (at home) I would have paid $40.00 more for the same thing. The price sign over the game was clearly $39.99.

The manager said that it was a simple mistake and that the store had simply not changed the price back to $79.99 after their midnight madness sale... LAST FRIDAY NIGHT. Is she kidding? Five days had passed since that sale. Not enough time to change a price? A lot of seniors shop in the Abbotsford, BC Zellers. I was shocked that they are allowed to pull this crap off without having to compensate the customer. Not only that... half the merchandise in the store is without prices attached or posted. Guess the store hopes you'll just put it in your basket or whatever and it will get rung through the scanner and you'll own it or reject it. It's a calculated risk I suppose that you'll just take the item and the store wins.

Not too keen on shopping at Zellers in future. The store is messy and untidy as well. I go there mostly for the post office. You expect the gov's going to rip you off so it's not such a shock.
