Jerome Taylor Auto Mall-Kingston ON. Canada
My co-resident and I who are both permanently disabled, took our 04 sunfire to jerome taylor auto mall service center in kingston ontaio canada, because of a metal on metal tapping noise in the front end. 4 hours and $800.00 later we took the car home. Next day the noise came back, we took the car back as we had a 3 month parts and labour warranty, 3 time and they still didn't fix it. We then sent an aggressive e-mail to the General Manager -JASON TAYLOR, and told him we wanted our money back, he refused, stating he classed our e-mail as theatening, but that he would get his SERVICE MANAGR -AARON O"NEIL, involved in the repairs. From him, all we got was storey after storey of what was causing the noise, this went on for 14 more trips to this service centre, which took up the 3 month parts and labour warranty period. On the last day of the warranty, AARON O"NEIL phoned us and stated he found the problem, it was the nuts and rims, they would have to be replaced with all new rims and nuts, for a cost of $2000.00 on top of the $800.00 we already paid. I told him he was alyer, and that we were going to take the car somewhere else for inspection and photos. At that, he charged us another $200.00 for keepping our car over night, even though there was still the last day of the warranty. Needless to say, our car still isn't fixed, as being on disability, it could take us 3-4 years to save enough money again for nthe repairs, and an honest mechanic. BRIAN DAWSON & ELAINE WELCH
